Meet The Team

Kim

Kim has over 15 years of experience in the dental field. She loves helping people understand their dental benefits and how to use them so we can provide them with the best treatment possible - "We are all about happy, healthy smiles!" Kim's family consists of six cats, four dogs, three teenagers, and a tortoise. Being with all of them is her favorite thing to do.

Michelle

Michelle joined the IFD team in 2019, coming from an administrative background of over 20 years. Being born and raised in Ionia, she loves being able to serve old friends from the greater Ionia community - as well as make new ones. 

Outside of the office, her favorite things are vacationing with her husband and making memories with their four children and fifteen grandchildren. 

Stephanie

After being home with her family for a stretch of time, Stephanie joined the IFD team in 2023. She loves the interpersonal part of her work day, saying, “Besides the great doctors and staff, it’s been great to meet so many families that come into the office!”

In her spare time, Stephanie likes to plant and arrange flowers, to read autobiographies and fiction, and to love on her three kids and golden retrievers at home.

Tara, RDH

Tara began her hygiene career in 1994, and has been with IFD since 2005. She enjoys the relationships, both personally and professionally, that she has been able to develop with her co-workers and patients over the years. She states, “I am so lucky to have wonderful people I get to work with and to like what I do. “ Tara loves road trips, exploring new places, true crime, and cooking - (“even the prep work!”)

Maggie, RDH

Maggie has been practicing as a hygienist since 2010, and has been a part of the IFD family for over 10 years.

Maggie finds purpose in connecting with patients and appreciates, “the instant gratification of helping and educating them with their oral health.”

When not at work, you can find Maggie being active outside, spending time with her family, and cooking up delicious meals.

Jen W, CDA

Jen began working as a dental assistant April 1999 and joined IFD in 2022. One of her favorite parts of her job is, "When we transform a smile and it completely changes the patient's confidence."

Jen has four children and two French bulldogs. She enjoys laughing, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her friends and family.

Carlie, RDH

Carlie is the newest addition to our hygiene team after graduating GRCC's Dental Hygiene program. Her favorite part of her job is that, "I am constantly meeting new people and building new relationships. I love that I am able to help teach others about the importance of good oral hygiene." In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Some hobbies of hers include painting, playing golf, and going for hikes.

Jen B, CDA

Jenny began her dental career in 2001 after completing a dental assisting program in Holland, MI. After many years of experience, she joined Ionia Family Dentistry in 2021.

Her favorite aspect of working in dentistry is building relationships with patients, "and helping create healthy smiles is just icing on the cake!"

Outside of the office, she enjoys watching a good TV series, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors - especially in our Michigan summers!
